Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The Diamondbackers are the parent support group at Century.

Yearly membership dues are $35.00 and include a t-shirt (new this year!) Pay cash, venmo @PaulaTurner2603, send it to Paula Turner 635 W Poplar, Poc. 83201, or send it to the Bursar at the school. They meet for about an hour on each second Wednesday of the month, at the Century Career Center (immediate left turn after the front door, and down the hall).

We do a few things throughout the year, such as helping feed kids on a testing day in the spring, and a couple of teacher appreciation days throughout the year. We will contact you as the case arises for things like cookies, chips, cases of water or other goodies. We also help on the Roundup. This is the only all school fundraiser we have at Century. The money we collect either through Diamondbackers‘ fundraising or by membership dues goes back to the students by application from the clubs, sports, or student activities. So, you can choose your level of commitment, be it everything, or nothing more than your membership dues. We always send out the meeting minutes, so you will not miss anything important we need to share with you if you cannot or choose not to come to the monthly meetings. Of course if you do want to come, we will always have a school administrator there to answer your questions and give you insight into what is happening around the school.

One last item! Diamondbackers will get a card to show at the gate for athletic events here at Century that allows for a $1.00 off for up to two people per card. *Membership application just needs the $35.00, your name(s) home address, a phone number, an email address and a t-shirt size. (The membership comes with one t-shirt, additional shirts are $7.00). We are excited for an amazing school year! Please join us! If you have any questions, please be sure to contact me via email!
